Founder and director of Rombo Records, Bill Blunt, is a producer and songwriter from Manchester. Having started writing and publishing music on streaming platforms at the age of 13, he began producing and engineering for local rap and urban artists while studying at the British & Irish Modern Modern Music Institute in Manchester. Bill first got into music when he started playing the guitar at primary school, and then learned how to produce music and make beats using Logic. At the start of high school, he discovered rap music after hearing Kanye's "Late Registration", which he quotes as being a major influence on his early style of production. Bill now enjoys many genres of music, from jazz and Afrobeats to house and drill. With this wide range of influences, he produces across range of music genres, such as Afrobeats, drill, hip-hop, R&B, trap, drum &bass and more, and is always on the look-out for new artists to work with.
